Carrie David

EVP / Chief Human Resource Officer

Carrie David joined us in 2021. She is responsible for creating and driving the people strategy across our business, including strengthening our exceptional culture, enhancing training and career development for our employees and furthering our diversity, equity and inclusion journey.

With more than 20 years of experience, Carrie has proven to be an agile leader who has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to galvanize teams across multiple industries with a love for fast paced and high growth organizations.

Most recently, Carrie was the Head of HR for Sysco Corporation’s US Foodservice, a $45B business with 40,000 employees and 6 business lines where she successfully led the biggest operating model change in the Company’s history. Prior to that she was EVP & CHRO for Interstate Hotel and Resorts, a $5B hospitality company.

Prior to her time at Interstate, Carrie served as Senior Vice President of Operational Excellence and Field Support for Coffee & Bagel Brands, leading multiple field and corporate departments along with integrating the people practices and programs for three legacy brands. Earlier in her career at Delaware North, Carrie held multiple HR executive roles including an international assignment as the Head of HR of Australia and New Zealand.

Carrie completed the Advanced Executive Human Resources Program at the University of Michigan. She holds a master’s degree in Industrial Labor Relations and Human Resource Management and a bachelor’s degree in Finance. She is a Certified Gallup Strengths Coach and previously served as an Advisory Board Member for the Cornell Center for Innovative Hospitality Labor & Employee Relations and was a guest lecturer on corporate culture and creating a winning employee value proposition at Georgetown University.
