2025 SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl to be Played New Year’s Eve

junio 06, 2025

LAS VEGAS – Taking place on New Year’s Eve for the first time, the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl will be played Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. PT (3:30 p.m. ET) at Allegiant Stadium and televised by ESPN.

A Big Ten Conference team will be part of the matchup for the third time and face a team that formerly or currently makes up the Pac-12 Conference. On-sale timing for tickets will be announced at a later date. This will mark only the third Las Vegas Bowl to take place post-Christmas. Last year’s edition saw USC rally for a thrilling 35-31 win over Texas A&M on December 27.

“Big-time college football bowl games are synonymous with ringing in the New Year and we are ecstatic to be joining that group in 2025,” said John Saccenti, executive director of the Las Vegas Bowl. “The early afternoon kickoff will allow fans to attend and tune in across the country to what we expect to be another dynamite matchup before celebrating New Year’s Eve. This is another milestone reached in the 34-year history of our event in the Sports and Entertainment Capital of the World.”

The SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl is one of 17 bowl games owned and operated by ESPN.
