Scott Vansant - Executive Vice President
Scott Vansant currently holds the position of Executive Vice President for SRS Distribution. Scott has over 30 years of experience in financial and operational management, primarily within the building products industry and with private equity sponsored businesses.
Prior to joining the SRS team, Scott held the position of Chief Financial Officer for JW Aluminum Corporation (“JWA”), a manufacturer and supplier of aluminum rolled products to building product OEM’s. Prior to JWA, Scott spent 19 years with Euramax Holdings, Inc. (now Omnimax Holdings, Inc.) as Chief Financial Officer and later, President of Euramax North America. Scott was a part of the executive management team at Euramax when it was formed in 1996 through the equity sponsor buyout of Alumax Inc.’s (“Alumax”, acquired by Alcoa in 1998) fabricated products businesses. While Chief Financial Officer, Euramax became a leading manufacturer and supplier of metal roofing, edging and roof drainage products to distributors, contractors, and home centers. In these roles Scott has a history of success with private-equity sponsored businesses that grew through organic initiatives and multiple M&A transactions. He also has significant experience running field operations including sales, marketing, operations and supply chain functions. He is a veteran building products industry executive with substantial experience accessing markets for growth, operating, and M&A capital.
Prior to the Euramax buy-out, Scott served as Internal Audit Director for Alumax Inc., a Fortune 200 publicly held international integrated aluminum producer. Prior experience at Alumax included operational roles as Controller for Alumax Building Products, Inc. and Branch General Manager for the Mid-Atlantic territory.
Scott began his career with Ernst & Young, LLP, is a CPA and a graduate of Mercer University with a BBA in Accounting.
